The ragdoll was created in the 1960's by breeder Ann Baker. This breed was the result of Ann Baker's regular non-pedigreed white domestic longhaired cat named Josephine being involved and subsequently injured in an accident involving a car. Josephine was a Persion/Angora type. The litter she bore was sired by several unknown male Birman or Burmese-like cats, one of which had the Siamese point coloration. The next litter after Josephine's recovery produced kittens with a docile, placid termperment, affectionate nature, a tendency to go limp and relaxed when picked up.

  • When Ragdoll kittens travel to another state, we use air shipping in cabin

  • Cost: Shipping depends on destination. The cost of flight, pet carry on fee and $100 courier fee. We charge $48 for a carrier. The average cost to ship is $500 in the US.

  • Receiving your kitten: After the flight for your kitten is booked, we will e-mail you the flight information along with the confirmation number. We will stay in communication and hand deliver the kitten to you at the airport.

  • Arrival: Your new furry friend will be hungry and thirsty upon arrival so don't forget their food and water. I'd recommend bringing a litter pan as well. Please do not introduce he or she to any pets in the household right away. Give them time to adjust to their new environment and become more comfortable with their surroundings.

  • If you have any questions before or after the process, please don't hesitate to ask.
